Not everything that can be counted Counts, and not Everything that Counts can be counted

Recently I came across this very beautiful and meaningful quote which gives us a unique insight. It teaches, a man must be visionary, he must value the vision of life. He should always find the real purpose of life, today what we see significant, later on, it seems quite insignificant and what we find unimportant today which turns out to be quite important tomorrow. We never know when our life would take a new tilt.

Ever since we come out womb of our mother, As a kid, we start learning how to talk, how to walk etc. gradually we start striving for multiple things- wealth, knowledge, name, fame etc.We embark upon a different journey in which life poses many challenges before us that we have to confront every single day and no one can deny this fact. When we recall our childhood memories, how we were depressed when we were obsessed with certain things and didn't get it, things did not happen the way we wanted to make it happen. Now those past problems and fight with friends seem to be trivial today.

The best thing about life is unpredictability, it takes us along a Zigzag path and we are never aware of its next move so, it's better to ready to face all ups and downs in our life. In addition to it, we need start counting our blessings and Time is the greatest blessing that anyone can ever have and life in itself is the greatest blessing. We always live in past, think about future and forget to enjoy the present. What matter most is the Present, neither Past nor Future. A student never should waste valuable time thinking too much about future, and focus on studies and make himself some creative work rather wasting time on useless stuff because Time is money and spend money to save time sometimes as the pace of life is very fast.

All of us live in a material and real world, in order to survive we need money. For a living, we should work because nothing comes free, many of us aspire to lead a luxurious life, someone wants to be a millionaire overnight, on the other hand, someone wants to see their name in the List of Top Ten richest Person in the world. In the race of craziness for incessant money, we neglect our health, happiness, inner peace and inner joy. There is also saying"A man earn money to have good health, and he loses all his money to gain good health then why he earns", and it compels us to think. Health is the greatest asset and without it, we can't even enjoy so-called material pleasure. As it is said that healthy mind resides in a healthy body and generate healthy ideas, spread positive vibes, further taking action on those ideas makes our life meaningful because An idea can change your life and my life. Simply lying on a bed all the time and doing nothing makes our body and mind idle. Lethargy, laziness, and idleness are the source of demotivation, there should be no place for it in our life.

Life is a roller coaster ride full of ups and down and we do have a choice to scream or enjoy the ride.We must learn to embrace success and failure equally.Disappointment, frustration, and hopelessness are an integral part of it, it's our attitude how we do look at and what meaning we extract out of it, hopes or happiness. Therefore, it's our response toward good and bad things that happen to us and how much mastery we do have over it.

Sometimes, we found ourselves among a blend of good and bad people and we have to deal with all of them daily. If something goes wrong, we develop a blaming attitude for everything, we blame people, we blame system even they are but the problem starts when we expect others to change rather changing ourself because it's difficult to change the world so it's better to change ourself, the world will change its own and this is what matter most in life.

In life, everybody wants to be happy and successful, different people have different aims and ambitions and they should indeed follow their passion. After passion there comes compassion, compassion for the poor whose early morning start with a struggle for a square meal merely, compassion for the marginalized, to make them part of the mainstream.

Parents often encourage their children to get good marks, great grade, but they don't understand to upgrade their own children with human and moral values which are the essence of education and more important than education, it is the need of hour brought. It is missing today in our education system. We never ask our children did you help anyone today? In case their children don't come up with flying colors. We impose our failures and unfulfilled ambition on them and it keeps continue which is really sad. At last children start living with guilt and filled with an inferiority complex so the game of Ratrace should be stopped.

The crux of above quote is that at the end of life, what matters most, not all those worldly accomplishments and material advancement although they are essential but, how we enjoyed it, how we lived our life to fullest, Was it purposeful, Was it dignified or falsified? How much we became spiritually advanced? Did we enjoy our journey?
In a nutshell, we need to give a definite shape to our life by drawing a thin line between important and unimportant things.
